Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms & conditions carefully before starting to access courses, workshops, masterclasses, lectures & seminars (knowns as events) listed on this website. Your use of this website and the documents linked to all events is subject to you confirming that you accept these terms & conditions & that you agree to comply with them. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms you will not be able to order any events from us.
1. General Information
This website is provided by Blue House Pilates, whose register office is at Blue House Farm, Billingham, TS22 5PW. Our email address is claire@bluehousepilates.co.uk. References on this website refer to:
a) "Blue House Pilates" or "I" or "we" or "our" or "us" shall mean "Blue House Pilates"
b) "you" or "your" shall mean the user of this website and events. You are responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our website through your internet connection are aware of these terms & conditions and that they comply with them.
2. Medical
Medical disclaimer - no information on this website or during events is intended to be used as medical advice. Prior to starting a health form is to be completed & thereafter updated annually. This health form includes detailed health information, the required informed consent & detailed client management medical guidance. Blue House Pilates may recommend you see or ask for consent in writing from a doctor, consultant, physiotherapist or medical practitioner prior to starting any exercises or events with us. You must agree to stop immediately if you feel any pain or discomfort, where an alternative exercise will be offered or you will be advised to consult doctor, consultant, physiotherapist or medical practitioner for advice prior to next session or continuing with the event. By undertaking any exercise programme, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk and that the creators, producers, instructors and distributors of this programme will not be liable for any personal injury, loss or liability of whatsoever nature, including breach of duty or contract, arising because of or connection with your undertaking any exercise programme and advice contained on this website & within events.
When first starting with Blue House Pilates you must compete a 121 session online session or complete the Fundamentals course or an equivalent event prior to being accepted into the "Inner Circle" subscription group. If any answers in your Health Questionnaire need updating, you must email Blue House Pilates prior to taking part in your next exercise session, as some exercises may need to be adapted. This is particularly important if you suspect you may be pregnant.
3. Your status
By placing an order with Blue House Pilates, you are confirming that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract and you are at least 18 years old.
4. Consumer rights & Cancellation
Digital products do not fall within the 'cooling off' 7 day period required under UK law. If you have an issue with an event you have purchased, please email claire@bluehousepilates.co.uk and we will respond within 48 hours.
5. Risk & Title in Products & Events
Ownership of products will only pass to you once we receive payment in full. Products & events cannot be shared or bought as a consortium or group. Purchases are on an individual basis and a login relates to the purchaser only. In the event that we receive evidence of logins being shared or products being purchased on a group basis with a view to sharing logins we will cancel all access to all products / events with immediate effect for the individuals concerned with NO refund.
6. Price & Payment
The price of events & products will be quoted on the website & are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of those who have already received an order confirmation. If a price is listed incorrectly by mistake, and the product / event is higher we will either contact you or reject the order & notify you the reason why. We are under no obligation to provide a product / event to you at the incorrect price, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable & could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error.
If we agree that you may pay for a product / event in instalments, then each instalment must be paid by its due date as notified by us to you. If you fail to make any payment by the due date we may charge interest at 4% above the Bank of England's base rate, which will accrue on a daily basis until the amount is paid in full; debt collection costs will be payable by you and you will be refused access to products / events until paid for in full.
Discounts or free events are for members of the Inner Circle are only valid when the monthly subscription is paid for in full. If members are found to be sharing this free content with others (except siblings / family members in the same household) their membership will be terminated & access to all events will be cancelled with NO refunds.
7. Refunds policy
If you change your mind after purchasing an event, you are not entitled to a refund. Digital products do not fall within the 7 days 'cooling off' period required by UK law. We may close Facebook groups, remove individuals from Facebook groups & refuse membership to Facebook groups at our discretion & without notice. Facebook groups are free bonuses & are not classed as a paid element of a product or event.
8. Subscriptions
Access to workshops, masterclasses & Pilates classes can be purchased as a subscription which will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. Subscription can be cancelled at any time & once your cancellation is processed you will be able to access classes until the end of your current billing cycle. After this time access to classes will be removed.

9. Intellectual Property
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in this website and the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. The design & layout of the website are protected by copyright, database right, design rights and other similar laws and may not be copied or imitated in whole or in part.
The trademarks, logos and trade names displayed on the website ("Marks") are the property of Blue House Pilates or other third parties. You are not permitted to download. copy, modify or use the Marks without our prior written consent or the consent of such third party who may own the Marks.
If you purchase an event you have access to the material strictly for the purpose of participating in the relevant event & for your own educational, noncommercial purposes. You must ensure the course materials are only made available to & accessed by you & you must not make them available, copy, reproduce, disseminate, retransmit, sub-license, distribute, sell, publish, broadcast or otherwise supply in any medium & in any manner to any third party.
10. Data Protection
In relation to personal data provided to us by you, you agree that we may use such personal data to perform our obligations. You agree that this personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Events outside our control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control i.e. Force majeure. We have the right to reschedule.
12. Vary these terms of supply
We have the right to revise & amend these terms of supply from time to time.

Privacy Policy
At Blue House Pilates we respect the privacy of visitors to our website ( www.bluehousepilates.co.uk). The information below states how we collect information, what we do with it & what controls you have over your personal information.
Prior to you taking part in any events we offer, whether online or face to face we require a 'Client Information Form' to be completed which includes you ticking a box to agree to your client file being stored digitally. This form also includes 'Informed consent' for you to participate in exercise. Our insurance policy states how long this information needs to be stored. Stored digitally, means that your information may be connected to the company we use for email marketing & the website as well as your 'Client Information Form' stored digitally in a locked, pass coded file. We will keep this information as long as required by law for both insurance & accounting purposes.
You do not need to give us any personal information to use our website, but if you wish to take part in our events or wish to receive a newsletter then we will securely store these details. We only have your details because you have given them to us. If you wish us to remove your details or stop receiving emails, please click unsubscribe button or email claire@bluehousepilates.co.uk
We do not pass on, sell or rent any information about our clients to a third party.
Children - we will not knowingly market to or accept orders for services from persons under 18 years. As a parent or guardian we encourage you to be aware of the activities in which your children are participating, both offline & online.
